Exciting and stimulating opportunities to become involved as a Volunteer include:

Current Opportunities:

Executive Director - Currently this is a nonpaid, part-time position. It includes a dedication of 20-40 hours per month with its role to oversee the operations of SGA, build and expand our current endavors, increase our Alliance Network Partnerships, establish more Alliances, grow our Follow Your Passion Funding, and find further grant funds and donations. We are in the midst of seeking grant funding to extend this position to a full time paid Executive Director. Our hope that whoever becomes the Executive Director will fulfill this position, is aligned with SGA's Vision and Mission, and ready to take us to the next level with their own ideas, enthusiasm, and energy.

 

Board Members - We are looking for Board Member individuals who  . . .  (1) have fund raising and networking experience and interested in raising funds, (2) have a financial (CFO) background, or (3) is a lawyer.

 

Marketing Coordinator - Assist in creating, producing, and executing promotional and collateral materials for the organization and its events including printed materials, e-mails, and press releases. Nonpaid; Approximately 10-20 hours per month.

 

Alliance Network Coordinator - Assist is the finding and coordination of Alliance Partner Presenters and Guest Speakers as well as the logistics of The Alliance Network Meetings. Nonpaid; Approximately 5-10 hours per month including the monthly meeting.

 

Website Administrator - Keeps the website updated with new SGA information, enhances the content of the website, loads in new or updated Alliance Network Partnerships, posts Alliance Partner class and workshop offerings, builds our presence on the Internet, and creates links with other websites. Nonpaid; Approximately 10-20 hours per month.

 

Volunteer Coordinator - To build and oversee the Volunteer team, create a training program, and coordinate and fulfill the various roles and projects within SGA. Nonpaid; Approximately 10-20 hours per month.

Volunteer Gatherings

Being a Volunteer with Stellar-Gaia Alliances is as much about making new friends as it is helping out so we hold a Volunteer Gathering to catch up, share and celebrate each other. Anyone who is interested in finding out more about volunteering with Stellar-Gaia Alliances is welcome to attend.
